Websitetemplates offer a good range and amount of templates at very reasonable prices; $100 for a Flash template is not too shabby. However, we did find that the quality of these templates was less than that of most of Websitetemplates’ competitors in this category though we did appreciate the option to view the templates before purchase and download a sample one. 

To be fair, the designs themselves are alright, however, many aspects of the templates need tuning which will require significant computer and web design skills. Websitetemplates appear to offer customization services. Clicking this link however, sends you to their sister site, Templatetuning, who will proceed to charge you exorbitant prices for simple customizations for which they have a reputation for not delivering on.

Furthermore, Templatetuning appear to offer exactly the same templates as Websitetemplates which begs the question; what is the point in WebsiteTemplates? They claim to offer 24/7 live support but we couldn’t get the live chat working and many of their help pages seemed quite dated; for example, numerous tutorials in their knowledge base have been written for obsolete software.

In conclusion, despite a rather negative review, you may come across a template you happen to like at Websitetemplates at a reasonable price. If so, we’re not going to tell you not to purchase it, but do expect to have to do some work on it without any real support from Websitetemplates.com. Hence, experienced web designers may find something of value here, but we would encourage novices to look elsewhere for their website solutions.
