ZERO - THEY ARE A DISGRACE AND SHOULD BE BLACK LISTED AND BANNED!

I got stuck with probably the worst manager in the world Tiffany - avoid this one at all costs! I explained to her step by step how I wanted my template to look and the functionality I required. She insisted it was fine and would be delivered in 8 days. The next 2 months of my life drastically changed forever...see below:

* 8 days in I ask where my template is she says it has been delayed another week due to the complexity of the project, no problems I wait another week and after hounding them on chat they finally give it two me another two days late. However its wrong. not just a little bit a lot. The screenshot I had agreed to is completely wrong, not even the same colours, and functionality that I had paid for missing completely, they were supposed to install 3 different plugins which I had given them specifics for and they had quoted an extraordinary price (150 per plugin) considering it is 20 minutes work. However no plugins were installed. several other functions were missing as well.

Template-Tuning, Template-Help and Template-Monster are all the same monster!

Template Monster actually have some great templates on the face of it, but unless you have extensive knowledge of the type of template you are buying - DON'T

Once you have bought a template - if you require any help, you will be directed to Template-Help. I initially found them quite helpful - they even made me a custom video, explaining step by step how to do something. That service was great. However, if you want anything more than basic help, you will be directed to Template-Tuning.

These guys will charge you (a lot) to do even the most basic of things.

All I requested was that my contact form was altered to allow me to choose which recipient it was sent to, with the addition of a drop down box. I was advised of a price of $120 for this, but as the original template had only cost $62 I could not justify this. Linda Robertson (if that is her real name) agreed a discount and I ended up paying $79.

This company has given the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They could not install or fix the template we purchased after specifically telling them step by step how to do it.
Everything they touched and attempted to install and fix was completely wrong!

My in-house programmer even went as far as to install the theme and get it working for them, then they still went in and screwed everything up.

They actually uninstalled everything that my programmer had done and then re-installed the theme to the wrong website. They screwed up a separate website platform that was operating unconnected with the installation.

Our project Manager's name was Henry Patton - and his grasp of English is terrible. Over and over I would email them back and forth and he would completely misread and misunderstand my emails on the most basic of things.

They wasted several weeks of company time, created nothing but problems and stress for our whole design team, and I'm damn lucky I haven't lost my job because I trusted this company.

I am amazed at how bad these people are. I purchased a template and installation from Template Tuning - I had supplied images of how I wanted each page to look and the job should have taken a week at the most. However, I had to confirm several times that they had an understanding of what I wanted. This initial process went on for more than a week.

Finally the template was uploaded and installed but with several bugs. I am unable to upload content and the image gallery function doesn't work. I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to get things to work. Their support team sent me a "quick fix" file which didn't work. I got a response from someone after issuing a complaint because their chat system rarely worked and their telephone numbers go to answer machine.

I finally get hold of my project manager, Henry Patton, who proceeds to tell me that the template is working well from his end and they won't take responsibility for any changes the customer has made to the template after installation. We purchased a website template and then needed to adjust it. We contacted Template Tuning who said that they could do the adjustments for $100. We paid the $100 and they have not done what we asked them to do. We have been passed from one support person to another over the past month and no-one from Template Tuning will do what we asked. They will not take our calls and insist on using e-mail. They have stolen our money and will not make good on their promises.

DO NOT USE TEMPLATE TUNING FOR YOUR WEBSITES BECAUSE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!

In summary, I would not recommend Template Tuning to a friend.

I have purchased a clean Joomla + Template install with minor customization to color. I have done this work myself before but i just didn't have the time to do it this time around. Knowing that the work can take 2 maybe 3 days at absolute tops, it took Templatetuning team 2 weeks to accomplish this. Template looked fairly decent but for one major problem. None of the external links worked. Every external link was broken and lead to a 404 page. After notifying the project manager i was told that it was because I modified their template (which i didn't) and that I can't have a refund because it was my fault.

Customer service is horrid. They are rude and they blame you for their errors. You can only email your project manager because they are conveniently never available in chat. No one picks up the support line and no one will talk to you in chat because they are not your project manager.

This is the worst service i had ever had to put up with.

In summary, I would not recommend Template Tuning to a friend.

I bought a template and installation services. I received one email response. Somehow I got this person Richard Bennett that is my customer support manager - ha!

I tried calling customer support - no answer or the number is filled up (frankly not surprised). Have also emailed [email protected] - they clearly don't care.

Can't get my site or a refund?!

It looked like a good opportunity it's not. Run the other way!!!

I bought 2 templates from them. One I've installed, and there was at least 6 bugs, that I known of, because I had to hire someone to fix the template since they would not answer my calls. Well, they did answer it after 3 weeks. I did add a "Like" button from Facebook in the page, paid for it and received the template without it. After 2 and a half months I received the Button that do not work. I was talking to Emma Barnes that said she was sorry but all the e-mails I sent her were in the Spam box, and that was the reason she didn't answer my e-mails. After a while she asked me for my FTP info, which I gave her 3 times and she hasn't received yet... or it is in her spam box. I checked my sent Items box, they were sent. Then I went to their website, and talked to a girl Stacy in customer service, she said she could not help me because she didn't have access to the tools in the template turning. She gave me 2 phone numbers 518-312-4147 and 347-342-0463, both had no one answering the lines.... (Read the full review)

I got such a bad and expensive service. Of course they didn't respect the dateline to deliver the job ($900); very poor assistance; the project manager (john) disappeared completelly and other guys of the online support won't help at all as they were not responsible for the project.......I am very unsatisfied and would absolutelly NOT recommend.

Probably the worst customer service experience I can recall for many many years. I have sent emails to supervisors, complaint department and CEO and not one person has bothered to respond. It took the programmer 2 weeks to figure out how to login to our site even tho the operator logged on fine every day when I was on support chat. Then the second part of the plugins was not installed and they completely stopped responding to me and when I would sign on chat they just let me sit there after they said they were transferring me to my project manager. They assign you to one person and you can only talk to that one person. Mine doesn't start work til 5pm so that means you lose another whole day of getting anything done each time.

I teach customer service and this is beyond fathoming. I have complained to Template Monster who has a link to them on their site. They are listed on Ripoff and Scams on the Internet and now I can see why. Whatever you do ...STAY FAR AWAY from this Company.
